20 RESORTS · BRITISH COLUMBIA & ALBERTA
Explore 20 major ski areas across BC and Alberta. Jump to official webcams, mountain snowfall reports and the regional weather outlook. Camera availability and snow totals come from their publishers.
Loading the BC & Alberta mountain directory…
HUNTER ALPINE's mountain directory links to official publishers. A listed webcam may be live video, a still image refreshed periodically, or a report page. Check the source timestamp before making decisions.
Consult the current regional avalanche forecast, terrain guidance and local professionals before travelling beyond controlled terrain.
HUNTER ALPINE / MOUNTAIN CONTROL
Switch between hosted camera players and 17 additional resort sources. Dedicated camera pages and general resort websites are labelled separately; a still image is not live video.
Hosted players and official camera-page links belong to third parties, not HUNTER. Providers may restrict playback on other websites. Use Official Cam Page or Open Player if a picture does not appear. A webcam is not a snow, road, avalanche or lift-status report.
CHECK AVALANCHE CANADA ↗TRACK THE STORM / PLAN THE TRIP
Real Environment and Climate Change Canada radar and regional forecasts. Use the mountain-specific report for alpine temperatures, snow accumulation, lift status and closures.
Radar data has not been checked in this browser.
OPEN OFFICIAL ECCC RADAR VIEWER ↗Official Environment Canada regional forecasts load here; these are not summit observations or snowfall projections.
Radar depicts recent detected precipitation, not what will fall tomorrow.
Valley forecasts are orientation only. Check a resort's alpine forecast and freezing level.
For uncontrolled terrain, consult Avalanche Canada ↗ and trained local expertise.
INTELLIGENCE OVER HYPE
Answer two questions for a starting-point ski profile. Then talk to a qualified bootfitter and technician before buying or mounting.
A versatile ski around 80–90 mm underfoot can be a useful place to begin. Prioritize a supportive, professionally fitted boot.
Educational guidance only. Height, weight, stance, snowpack, binding compatibility and ability affect the final fit. Touring also requires skills and avalanche training.
KNOW-HOW THAT GOES WITH YOU
Practical mountain knowledge from the boot room to the ridgeline. Initial guides are short-form essentials; deeper articles can grow with the site.
Talent should never depend on whether a family can cover boots, transport, instruction or lift tickets.
Our ROOTED alpine pathway is being designed around access to equipment, mentorship, mountain days, progression and eventual jobs in the sport.
